Having graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2022, Scott has taken part in several group exhibitions both in and out of academic settings, and now is About Time he hosted his own solo show.
Having made the tradition of visiting new exhibitions every year on his birthday, for his 38th birthday Scott figured that hosting his own show could feed two birds with one scone.
For his first outing, the artist has selected works spanning the previous decade, as well as creating new work for this show. Half of the exhibition is an introspective exploration of himself, with works covering themes of mental health and addiction. The other half is extrospective, with the artist instead looking outwardly and examining the world through a documentary photographer’s lens.
