Growing up in Plymouth, England, I have alway been surrounded by beauty within a city full of intrigue and wonder. I began to experiment with Photography as an art form during my teenage years but lost any real burning passion by my mid-twenties. As I approached my thirties, having worked in many different professions and yet somehow in a state of flux, my dear friend recommend I apply for University to pursue a passion. Here, with direction and a camera in my hand once more, the fire was reignited. 

Mind, body and soul I truly feel I have discovered my purpose in life. I am happiest when I’m creating. As a documentary photographer I want to see what the world will show me and report back using traditional and abstract methods. From these experiences I’m hoping to be inspired to create installations, write more poems and craft sculptures. As artists, I firmly believe that we are only limited by the tools we possess, I’m inspired daily by exceptional artists working with many different tools in broad and beautiful ways, beckoning me to create. While my greatest passion rests with documentary photography - manifesting in book and print media - I hope to continue my experimentation with new tools in order help me communicate the world as I see/feel/sense it.

I don’t have the best relationship with social media, as such I often feel inches away from cutting the wire to the last beacon, Instagram. Nevertheless I’m still to unburden myself from the slot-machine of dopamine due to that jackpot moment of discovering phenomenal works by others.
